Developing next-generation engineering leadership at Agratas
In July 2025, Agratas welcomed 14 Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) from leading engineering institutions as part of its structured GET Development Programme, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing young engineering talent and building a strong foundation for future advanced manufacturing leadership.
Since joining, the GETs have been integrated into the Global Manufacturing Engineering function, where they have undergone immersive, on-the-job learning focused on strengthening core engineering fundamentals and gaining a holistic understanding of Agratas’ manufacturing ecosystem. This hands-on exposure has enabled them to bridge academic knowledge with real-world manufacturing operations from the very start of their careers.
“Being exposed to real manufacturing environments so early on in our career has been truly valuable. It’s helping us understand how engineering decisions translate directly into operational outcomes,” said Akshay Asodariya, one of our GETs.
Following the successful completion of their foundational phase, the GETs are now entering a key developmental milestone. They’ll work alongside experienced engineers to participate in the review and assessment of advanced production machinery, gaining first-hand exposure to high-tech manufacturing systems, engineering standards, safety protocols, reliability practices and continuous improvement methodologies. This transition marks a shift from structured learning to real-time engineering decision-making.
“Collaborating with experienced engineers has strengthened our problem-solving skills and helped us appreciate the broader impact of our technical decisions,” shared Krishna Panchal, another one of our GETs.
Vivek Jaiswal, Vice President – Human Resources, said, “At Agratas, we believe early responsibility, structured mentorship and meaningful shop-floor exposure are critical to shaping well-rounded engineering leaders. This programme reflects our long-term commitment to building a strong leadership pipeline by equipping young engineers with technical depth, operational insight and organisational perspective in a high-growth, high-tech advanced manufacturing environment.”
We’re excited to see how our GETs continue to enhance their skills and broaden experience as they progress into this new phase of their development.
