Selecting the right boiler wasn’t a routine task—it became a foundational moment for the company. While an electric boiler promised simplicity and cost efficiency, the team knew that true leadership meant taking the bold road. The prospect of a briquette boiler brought both hopes and concerns: potential reliability and supply issues, increased capital expenditure, and operational demands. Key insights were gathered through site visits to leading companies—including Nestle, Biocon, Baxter, Lupin, and Emcure—that already operated similar systems successfully. Their real-world feedback addressed concerns and provided new perspectives, while continuous engagement with internal stakeholders ensured that every voice was heard and every doubt was explored.

Choosing progress
After months of detailed research, robust debate, and transparent collaboration, the answer became clear: the Briquette + CNG boiler system was more than just viable—it was the right choice for Agratas, India. This decision will deliver annual operational savings of INR 100 crore (about USD 12 million) per cell/block, while significantly reducing the environmental footprint of the new factory. Backed by technical validation and stakeholder endorsement, the project sets a benchmark for responsible industrial growth.
