What you'll do
Agratas UK is on a mission to transform safety culture and human performance across a high-hazard, upper-tier COMAH environment — and we’re looking for a Human Factors & Safety Culture Lead to drive it.
You’ll shape and deliver a site-wide Human Factors Strategy that influences how people, technology, and process come together safely and efficiently. Working alongside process safety and occupational safety specialists, you’ll have the scope to build something exceptional — embedding human performance principles into the heart of operations.
This is not a tick-box role. You’ll be advising senior leaders, collaborating with regulators, and steering key design and operational decisions that affect the safety of people and plant.
- Lead the development and rollout of the site-wide Human Factors Strategy
- Partner with management teams and HSE specialists to embed human performance principles across the business
- Integrate Human Factors thinking into equipment design, safety systems, and COMAH safety reports
- Conduct task analyses, human error assessments, and user trials to inform design and process optimisation
- Provide expert input into incident investigations, offering insights into human performance and organisational factors
- Represent Agratas on external professional and regulatory bodies
- Support continuous improvement through data, insights, and training
