Sanand, Gujarat

In Sanand, Gujarat, we’re building a state-of-the-art battery cell manufacturing facility that will play a vital role in India’s clean energy transition. This ambitious project will support the country’s growing demand for electric mobility and energy storage, combining advanced technology with responsible manufacturing. Set across 320 acres, the site is designed to deliver innovation at scale and redefine what’s possible in process efficiency, sustainability, and safety.
We’ve already begun outreach through community initiatives like tree plantation programmes and local engagement events.

Bridgwater, Somerset

Somerset is set to become the home of our flagship electric vehicle battery manufacturing facility in the UK. Located at the Gravity Smart Campus near Bridgwater, this multi-billion-pound project marks a major step forward in the UK’s energy transition. When fully operational, the facility will supply nearly half of the nation’s projected battery capacity for the automotive sector, helping to power the shift to clean transport at scale.
We’re creating a long-term partnership with the people of Somerset. From the start, we’ve worked closely with Somerset Council, UCS and the Gravity Smart Campus.
